AMO Dedication Ceremony The College of Computer, Mathematical and Physical Sciences, the Department of Physics and the Institute for Physical Sciences and Technology (IPST) will host an AMO dedication to celebrate the significant recent growth of our AMO (atomic, molecular and optical physics) research program here at the University of Maryland. Alumni are welcome for labratory tours and a reception with light fare on May 12, 2004 at 3pm. Physics and IPST faculty are also welcomed at 4pm. To RSVP, please contact Chris Fuller at cfuller@deans.umd.edu For more information about AMO Physics, please read Professor Rolston's faculty research article. Please note: The time for alumni and faculty are different only because of limited space for the lab tours. We encourage faculty and alumni to take this opportunity to reconnect with old friends & colleagues on an individual basis. |
