· Congratulations to Dr. Jordan Goodman, professor and chair of the Department of Physics. He was recently selected as the recipient of the 2004 Kirwan Undergraduate Education Award. This award, established by former University of Maryland President William E. Kirwan and Patricia H. Kirwan, recognizes faculty or staff who have made exceptional contributions to the quality of education here at the University. Dr. Goodman's dedication as an instructor, innovation as a curriculum reformer and mentorship of both undergraduate and graduate students earned him this prestigious award.
