This little utility allows you to input a plot in some graphics format (jpg, png, etc). The program will then let you specify the axes scales, and then you can click on the plot and it will read off the point for you.

To use it, first click on "Choose File" to import the graphics file that has the plot. That will bring up a file browser, browse to your plot and hit OK. You should see the plot appear. Then click on the "Set origin point" button, and that will allow you to click on the place where the origin of the $x$ and $y$ axes are. When you've done that, the status should change from "Not set" to "Done". Then do the same thing for the ends of the $x$ and $y$ axes. Each time you set the $x$ or $y$ axis max values, it draws the axis in blue. If you don't like where you've set the 3 points, you can draw them around.

Note that the program will use the $y$ value of the origin for the $y$ value of the end of the $x$ axis, and will use the origin $x$ value for the $y$ axis $x$ value. This keeps the axes straight. Then in the table below labeled "Set corresponding values:", you set the value for the origin and axes endpoints, where "value" means the value on the plot. So set the value in the text window and hit "Set". Doing so changes the status from "Not set" to "Done".

Once all status values are changed to "Done", click the "Start" button, then click on the plot and the program will calculate the $x$ and $y$ values in the plot coordinate frame and display the values in the little text area window below the plot.
