Guidelines for Presentations

Oral

Here are some things you should keep in mind if you are planning on giving a talk at the Zone Meeting. Each student talk will be 15 minutes in length. This means that you will be expected to talk for about 12 minutes leaving 3 minutes for questions. Detailed mechanics of the timing process will be explained on site.

PowerPoint presentations would be the preferred format to ensure compatibility but if that is not available to you contact us so we can make the proper arrangements. Presentations will be collected when you register Saturday morning. We will load them on a computer before all of the talks begin. Please submit presentations on a CD or an external USB storage device. If you would rather email the presentation, please send them to Ralph Edezhath by April 11th. All presenters are encouraged to email us a copy of their presentations if possible to help the zone meeting run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ralph Edezhath.
