MinutesMinutes for the Officers' Meeting of Thursday September 29, 2005 The entire command crew has arrived, so I guess the meeting is on. The issue at hand is the lockers. Locks will have to be cut. Before the meeting started, Sean's suggestion on this subject was rejected (I believe it involved thermite in some way). The unlocked lockers will remain unlocked. Ari's locker is opened, and a large lock-in amplifier is found therein. There are many dials and switches and such. Kim's locker reveals many books, and some rocks. Or at least we surmise that it's Kim's locker by its contents. It said "Phil" on it, but it seems doubtful that he would keep geophysics books - or rocks - in his locker. There's also a bible, and a Maryland Day T-shirt, a bag containing some unknown liquid, x-rays of someone's teeth, a form to change one's major, and a spoon wrapped in a paper towel. Alex claims an empty locker. Another contains old Sigma-Pi-Sigma stuff, including a roster book going back to 1945. It'll stay where it is, we decide. Bernie arrives with a cutting tool. It has a small spinning blade, and looks like it will be very loud. There is much struggle in the attempt to replace the damaged blade that was on it. Finally, success. The tool is ready to be used. Erin arrives with earmuffs and goggles for Bernie. Oooh, sparks. Alex takes over from Bernie, as she has long sleeves to shield her arms from the sparks. Success! A lock has been removed. And it wasn't so loud as I had feared it would be. Hmm, the blade broke and a piece of shrapnel flies by one of the other occupants of the lounge. Bernie arrives with a long-sleeve labcoat, and takes over from Alex. The secretary (that would be me) decides that this is boring and requires no further chronicle. With this I end.
