Minutes for October 21, 2004

"Mmm...donuts," thought sighfully the Secretary of the SPS at 5:05 pm EST 
at the undergraduate physics lounge. 

"The meeting is now started," spoke gleefully the President of SPS soon after.

The people sat around the lounge waiting for the meeting to begin, as the 
incessant symphony of zzzz's that the Treasurer was trying to catch filled
the room with utter delight.

Anyways, the first topic for the meeting was the lounge cleanup. It was 
re-affirmed that the cleanup will begin at 3 pm ish on Friday, October 22,
2004. Everyone should make an effort to come and helpout with the cleanup.

"Take the glasses off, Sean," spoke a voice from a corner.

"These aren't glasses. They are goggles," came a reply from a bearded face
in the opposite corner.

The next topic for business was the "fridge thinggie." Adam mentioned that
he is still waiting on Shelley to get the vending machine, and it was thus
decided that we will have to at least restock the sodas in the fridge for
sale. 

The next topic for business was the proposal of a book sale. It was decided
that there were a lot of books in the lounge that nobody used, and they
were taking up too much space. So, we will have a book sale sometime in the
future. Adam mentioned that we could ask alpha Bernie for help with the book
sale.

"Ask me?" came a reply from beta Bernie.

"Not you Bernie," proclaimed a prophetic voice from a corner.

"Throw a book at him," exclaimed another voice. 

"You can use my chemistry book," thundered Sean.

"No, I don't want to touch your book Sean. I might get cancer from it,"
mentioned Adam softly against the ghastly silence of the lounge.

The meeting then kinda drifted to the discussion of how to arrange the 
lounge after the cleanup tomorrow.

And then the meeting ended, in the background of the incessant zzz's that
continued to ring in the ears of all mankind.
