Alright boys and girls, the moment you all have been waiting for is
finally here.

Movie Night:
For those of you who may have missed it, we did get hit by a hurricane.
If you showed up two fridays ago to movie night and we weren't there,
that
was why.  For those of you who didn't miss the hurricane, I figure you
didn't bother showing up anyway.  The movie night has been rescheduled.
Somehow I forgot to write down when it was rescheduled for.  By quantum
mechanics anyway, there is only a probability that it will fall on a
certain day.  So take your pick of day you might be right :o)

IgNobels:

Due to the lack ofplanning by just about everyone, we still don't know
whats going on.  Apparently you will be housing with Rich.  Actually I
just talked to Rich and he has infinite words of wisdom for you guys:
Make sure next year you start planning more than two weeks in advance.
Thanks, Rich!  Oct. 2 and 3 which is tomorrow, you will embarking on an 8
hour drive to MIT.  Andrew and Adam could be driving.  SPS will be taking
care of
gas.  The only of pocket expense would be food.  The following list of
people are those who are going:

There has been the possibility of scalping tickets at the Ignobels as a
fundraising event for SPS.

Ren Fair:
3rd weekend of Oct.  Jousting will be taking place that weekend.
Remember
those of you who go, jousting poles are giant pointy objects.  Nuff said.
Don't hurt yourselves.

Talks:
Dr. Reddish will be giving a talk.  On what, I don't know.  Thanks John
for actually asking your professor.

Donuts:
After the donut week from hell last week, things have finally started
looking up.  Bernie went shopping!  YAH!  If a newbie is doing set up or
clean up, then let berning know so he can help them.  There is now very
impressive whipboard on the door of the donut closet.  This high tech
device will now be used to keep track of what needs to be bought.  Do not
be afraid, just slowly touch the marker to the pristine white surface.
Carefully inscribe what is needed!  Simple!

Also, Tom Gleason no longer owes us his soul.  He paid his dues and
earned
himself a get out of jail free card.

Demos:
Bernie is never, ever allowed to touch any again.  This is the newest SPS
rule.  After trying to blow up the physics lounge, demos were able to
resume.
