Rock climbing is on!  Meet at 8 am in physics main lobby Sat. May 3! (the
side with the columns).

PME barbecue is tentatively May 7, again we are all invited.

Movie night is tomorrow - Dr. Strangelove and M*A*S*H at 6:30.

We discussed a graduation party (everyone comes) tentatively for the Sat.
night during finals.

Cole Miller will hopefully be giving a talk on May 8 (needs to be
finalized).

Everyone please send me (rpf@wam.umd.edu) nominations for officer positions,
we will be holding elections by ballot during the course of May 1 through 8,
so that everyone can vote.  The official procedure will be set up by the
first.

Our floors will get cleaned by the department!

Go to MD day, this Saturday 9-5!

A lounge library is being set up, which would involve using a card system.
(That's index cards in the books, not library cards.)

We will make up a lounge rules sign.
Specifically : anything that is left in the lounge for more than 3 days
becomes property of SPS unless it is an agreed upon item that should be
listed somewhere (eg. we will dispose of it if we don't want it).

Demos!  This week we had such intriguing combinations as balloons with
whips, and large glass rods with much larger two by fours.
