Minutes

Thursday 20 February

- Nothing too new on the luncheon.  It'll be Friday 14 March from 11 am to
1 pm.  The date still needs to be checked with the department.

- DONUTS START MONDAY (assuming we don't get snowed in again)

- Ok, we have a shit load of money and we want to spend it doing fun stuff
(other than movie nights).  Kristin is going to look into Indoor Rock
climbing at Earth Treks and Monica will be talking to the astroterps about
a possible joint camping trip (or we could just go by ourselves if they
decide to go when its still freezing out).  More at the next meeting.

- Not too much more on talks, just PLEASE, if you were supposed to talk
to someone please do it.  Hassan will be giving on the 6 March and Miller 
said he'd love to give one later in March (I talked to him Friday).

- The first offical SPS movie night will be help at 2Pi pm (6:28 pm) on
Friday 28 February.  After some discussion it was decided that we should
wait and see the Two Towers when the extended version comes out next fall
and not watch a ripped copy.  We'll be seeing Blazing Saddles and Snatch.
Mark B. (aka the president who's title keeps changing) is going to reserve
the room.

- The question came up of whether or not we should post the lounge rules
somewhere.  The three ones that should be up there if we do are

	1 - no fluids on the back table (spills on people's work)
	2 - no sleeping on the couches
	3 - no chinese food in the microwave (makes it smell)
