Minutes

Thursday 13 February

- The luncheon committee is Rich and Ryan (who elected himself by
inheriting his old job).  It'll be sometime in mid-March, between 2 and 2
1/2 hours long, around lunch.

- For talks Rich is talking to the Quantum Computing people and Mia (me)
is talking to Cole Miller (he does black hole work in astrophysics).

- Rich can lead a CSR (Center for Superconductivity Research) tour, no
real reason to do this, but its just fun to see how far down the building
really goes.  Keavin is going to (in theory) organize a tour of the
nuclear reactor on campus (yes we have one and yes it works).  Rich is
also looking into the wind tunnel.

- PME wanted to know if we could do something to help them fundraise.  We
decided to pay for their anual barbaque instead.  We provide the cash and
they do all the leg work and set everything up then we both get to have
fun and eat food.

- There was no donut anouncement because we were missing our donut czar.
