The first meeting of the Feynman Festival took place at the University of Maryland in August of 2002. The second meeting was held in 2004 at the same place. As in the case of the previous meetings, If Richard Feynman were alive and could come to this meeting, he would be treated in the same way, and he would like it very much. Indeed, this is the Feynman formula for running conferences. The Feynman formula allows us to drastically reduce your registration cost. The early registration fee for this meeting will be $100.

There are no pre-fixed topics for this conference. The scientific program will be determined by the participants. You are welcome to organize your own session(s). Please consult the principal organizer on the topic and scope of your your session(s). Send your e-mail to yskim@physics.umd.edu.

There are many people who could not go to the 9th Wigner Symposium which had been scheduled to be held in Poznan (July 2005). There will be sessions at this Feynman Festival for those people. They are welcome to present their talks at this Festival.

For the first (2002) and second (2004) meetings of the Feynman Festival, we received complaints from many physicists that the organizers did not make enough efforts to bring those distinguished individuals who cannot be separated from Feynman's name. They are right. We did not make any efforts to raise money to pay them. However, our answer to them is quite simple. If they can show their admiration for Feynman only if they are paid, we are not impressed. Feynman would laugh at them.
