Gold therapy

The nuclide 198Au, with a half-life of 2.70 d, is used in cancer therapy.

(a) What mass of this nuclide is required to produce an activity of 250 Ci?

(b) The decay of each gold nucleus produces a 215 keV x-ray. Assuming that all that energy is deposited within the patient's body, how much energy (in J) would a patient undergoing this therapy receive?

(c) What dosage (in Gy) would that patient receive in the first day of therapy?
