The University of Maryland Physics Education Research Group is a combined effort of
the Physics Department and School of Education to study the learning and
teaching of physics at all levels from elementary school to the graduate
level.
Our program focuses includes both qualitative and quantitative research
and relies heavily on video data of authentic classroom and learning environments.
Graduate degrees may be earned in physics or in education.
