1 mA) Threshold of sensation.

8-15 mA) Painful shock. Person able to let go.

15-20 mA) Painful shock. Muscle control lost near the point of contact, person cannot let go.

20-50 mA) Extreme pain. Severe muscle contractions along path of current. Breathing becomes difficult as diaphragm contracts.

100-200 mA) Heart fibrillation induced.

200+ mA) Severe burns. Muscles of the chest contract so strongly as to clamp the heart preventing fibrillation but also preventing the heart from beating for the duration of the shock.
