What Happens at the Top?

If an object has zero velocity at some instant, is its acceleration necessarily zero at that time? To explore this issue, consider a ball that is rolled up an inclined plane. It rolls up, slows, and then rolls down. At the moment it reaches its peak, its velocity is zero. Is its acceleration also zero? Explain why you think so.
