The University of Maryland Dynamical Systems and Accelerator Theory Group has been carrying out long-term research work in the general area of Dynamical Systems with a particular emphasis on applications to Accelerator Physics. This work is broadly divided into two tasks:
The Computation of Charged Particle Beam Transport,
The Computation of Electromagnetic Fields and Beam-Cavity Interactions.
