Hello. Congratulations on planning and implementing such an innovative, much-needed program! I brought students to your last live demos at UMD-College Park - and I had as much fun as they did. I am an engineer, a parent of a high school student and also an Adjunct Asst. Professor at UMUC. and Howard U. Physics is phun is wonderful! Please expand its scope and reach. Prince George's County, Maryland has three high schools with good |

Hello! I appreciated it when, several years ago, you came to my school (Northwestern High) to work with students and get them interested in physics. We all loved the program! Even though I no longer teach, I KNOW that my students learned a great deal; I hope that you all are still enlisting Northwestern High students! Is Donna Brown still with the program? We are former graduate school classmates --THANKS AGAIN for a wonderful program! |

I enjoy your lecture demonstrations and I volunteer when I can. \nI have been wondering how lace curtains work: by letting light through, but making for privacy, since people outside cannot see in even when the room is lighted. So there is a practical as well as asthetic quality to lace. What physical principles are involved, or is the eye (and mind) just tricked as in the large-appearing moon at the horizon? |
