Hello. Congratulations on planning and implementing such an innovative, much-needed program! I brought students to your last live demos at UMD-College Park - and I had as much fun as they did. Hello!

I appreciated it when, several years ago, you came to my school (Northwestern High) to work with students and get them interested in physics. We all loved the program! Even though I no longer teach, I KNOW that my students learned a great deal; I hope that you all are still enlisting Northwestern High students! Is Donna Brown still with the program? We are former graduate school classmates --THANKS AGAIN for a wonderful program!

I enjoy your lecture demonstrations and I volunteer when I can.

\nI have been wondering how lace curtains work: by letting light through, but making for privacy, since people outside cannot see in even when the room is lighted. So there is a practical as well as asthetic quality to lace. What physical principles are involved, or is the eye (and mind) just tricked as in the large-appearing moon at the horizon?
