Universal Natural
Scales
In our creation of theories
of the universe, we have been forced to introduce some "universal constants."
Three of these are
- Newton's universal gravitational constant, G (~2/3 x 10-10 N-m2/kg2)
- Planck's universal action constant,
(~10-34 J-s)
- The speed of light in vacuum, or the universal maximum speed, c (~3 x 108 m/s).
Construct natural scales of mass, length, and time from these three constants.
