Maryland Day

On April 30, 2005 the Department of Physics and the entire University of Maryland hosted the seventh annual Maryland Day for more than 30,000 alumni, friends and neighbors from the Greater Baltimore-Washington, DC area. Visitor enjoyed a fun-filled day of learning and exploration for all ages. Many thanks to the nearly 100 volunteers from the Department of Physics who, once again, worked extremely hard to make this important community outreach activity a success.
