The IceCube Experiment

· The latest experiment of the University of Maryland's particle astrophysics group, including Professors Jordan Goodman, Gregory Sullivan and Kara Hoffman, was featured in the March &, 2005 issue of The Diamondback. The article, “Greetings from Antarctica: For researchers, it's South Pole or bust,” discusses IceCube, an international collaboration experiment that is building a 1 km³ telescope to search for neutrinos beneath the ice of the South Pole.
