Gene Barth Memorial Service

On December 10, the Department of Physics will host a memorial service in the West Chapel to remember our friend Gene Barth, who passed away July 3, 2003. A reception in the Toll Room of the Physics Building (Room 1204) will immediately follow the service.

Supervisor of the Department's print shop, Gene was a valued member of the Physics family for 35 years. The entire Department misses him greatly and extends its heartfelt condolences to his many friends and family.

Physics Holiday Party

All Physics faculty, staff and students are invited to celebrate the holiday season and the upcoming winter break at the annual Holiday Party. Tickets are $5 if purchased by December 15th* and $8 if purchased at the door. Lite fare and beverages will be provided by the Department, so there is no need to bring anything.
