· The March 2003 Journal of Statistical Physics published an article by David Mermin entitled My Life With Fisher. The article is based upon the after-dinner talk given for Professor Michael Fisher's 70th birthday and focuses on Dr. Fisher's many contributions to the field of physics.

· Professor Robert Park was interviewed by several media outlets regarding the Columbia Report released by NASA on Tuesday, August 30, 2003. Dr. Park's discussed the topic with several radio stations, including Voice of America's "Sending Humans to Mars," PRI/KCRW's "To the Point and KCRW's "Which Way, L.A.?" He also spoke with BBC London and CBC News in Canada.· Professor Roald Sagdeev was quoted in the Tampa Tribune's June 7, 2003 article "Manned Vs. Machines"regarding manned space flight. He was also quoted by the Jewish World Review regarding the Russian Space Program.
