Invited Talks on Space Physics

In March, Professor Mason and Research Associate Mihir Desai gave two invited talks. They spoke on "Evidence for a suprathermal seed population for solar energetic particles and the implications for modeling" at the Muntidisciplinary University Research Initiave (MURI) Workshop at the University of Arizona, Tucson on March 17-18, 2003. They also presented "The suprathermal seed population of heavy ions accelerated by
interplanetary shocks near 1 AU" at the STEREO Instrumenets Workshop at Schwarszee, Switzerland on March 19, 2003.
