By Karrie Sue Hawbaker, Editor Dear Readers, I want to say congratulations to all of our Spring 2003 graduates! You did it! Your friends, your family -- and your UM Physics family, too -- are all very proud of you. And they should be! College Graduation is a significant accomplishment for any graduate and you have earned even more than the average student. You have earned a degree from one of the premier Physics Departments in the nation, housed within a top research university. That's impressive. Miles of promise and possibility are before you weather you choose to take your skills to graduate school, a government lab, private industry or something completely different. Whatever you decide, I hope you keep in touch. We want to know about your new job, new research, new grad school, new spouse & family, etc. So, don't forget to visit our alumni site and let us know where you are and what you're up to. So, check out this latest issue of the Photon; we've got a lot of news to share. And congratulations to the Terrapin Class of 2003! Best regards,
