On Saturday, May 21, 2005, the University of Maryland campus held its commencement ceremony at 7:00 pm in the Comcast Center. The University was pleased to welcome Andrea Mitchell, chief foreign affairs correspondent for NBC News as this year's keynote speaker. For more information about the ceremony, please click here.

On Sunday, May 22, 2004, the colleges across campus honored their graduates with additional ceremonies. The College of Computer, Mathematical & Physical Sciences (CMPS) held its ceremony at 2:00 pm at the Reckord Armory. Maryland State Senator Patrick J. Hogan, representative of the 39th legislative district, spoke to the graduates and Ms. Nina Bastian, a double major in mathematics and economics, gave a farewell address to her classmates. Prior to the ceremony, the Department of Physics hosted a reception for our graduates and their families.
