PURPOSE: To demonstrate iridescence from thin film interference.
DESCRIPTION: Iridescence involves production of colors due to interference. Here the interference between light reflecting from the two surfaces of a thin celophane sheet inside the bottle lead to beautiful but faint partially saturated colors.
