The temperature of both in centigrade degrees is monitored as time passes; the photographs above show the temperatures immediately after the water is poured into the dewars and about thirty minutes later. A typical set of temperature data is tabulated below:
time (min) silvered unsilvered
0 84.5 84.5
15 83.5 80.0
40 83.0 74.5
70 82.0 68.5
