Welcome to the 23rd year of PHYSICS IS PHUN, hosted by Dr. Richard Berg and the staff of the Physics Lecture-Demonstration Facility, assisted by numerous invaluable volunteers. These free public programs, which present physics at the high school level through the use of demonstrations, aim to educate, inform, and entertain. Interactive experiments will be available with volunteer supervision thirty minutes before each program.

ENERGY AND MOTION

Thursday 10 March 2005....Friday 11 March 2005....Saturday 12 March 2005 Exciting, danger-filled demonstrations of the laws of motion.

DIRECTIONS: From Beltway Exit 25 south 1.9 miles on Route 1, right at light on Campus Drive, proceed one long block and bear right at the "BIG M" traffic circle. Lecture Halls are 100 meters on right. Free parking is available in lots RR and B in the lower three floors of the Regents Drive Garage, across the street from the Physics Lecture Halls, or in nearby surface lots that designate free parking after 4:00 PM.
