As in the previous question, if you pull a single aluminum block along the surface of the table the frictional force measured by the spring scale is about 8 Newtons, as seen by clicking your mouse on the photograph at the right.


Now suppose the you turn the block onto its smaller surface, which is also covered with the same type of rubber, and pull it the same way with the spring scale.
