This is a follow-up question to Question #333.
Suppose that, while the speakers are on, I invert the phase of one of
the speakers by flipping the inverting switch (as in Question #333) and move the speaker at the left
slowly over to the left about 5 meters, as seen in the photograph at the
right above. What will happen to the sound?
When I separate the two speakers:
- (a) the sound will become even softer.
- (b) the sound will immediately become much louder.
- (c) the sound will slowly become much louder as the speakers separate.
- (d) the sound will slowly become a bit more audible.
- (e) the sound will remain about the same.
