This question is a sort of follow-up to Question #23. In Question #23 a meter stick is balanced asymetrically on your two index fingers and your index fingers are then moved together. In this case, the meter stick will be balanced asymetrically on two rods and the rods are then started into rotation. The apparatus is seen with the meter stick in its starting position in the figure below.

The meter stick is placed in position as shown, and the motor driver started, causing the supports to rotate at a few revolutions per second in the opposite sense from each other, as shown in the figure below (forces outward on the meter stick).
