Friday Night
There are no official activities scheduled for Friday night, but, since
we expect that most people will arrive sometime on Friday, we've chosen
the
Santa Fe Cafe
as an unofficial meeting place. Santa Fe is located near
the corner of Baltimore Ave and Knox Rd in College Park, approximately
two blocks north (toward the University) from the Quality Inn.
Both food and
drinks are available there.
Saturday Night Banquet
There will be a banquet on Saturday night at
Woodland restaurant
in Langley Park, serving excellent vegetarian Indian food.
The cost will be $15.00, which we will collect at one of
the breaks on Saturday. (We cannot process credit cards.) If you plan to
attend the banquet, please let us
know.
The restaurant is a
short drive from campus. We will arrange for
Maryland locals to drive people without cars, but will appreciate other drivers
willing to carpool.
