Traditionally, meetings have consisted of 10-15 minute talks spread out over three to four half-day sessions. The actual time allotted for each talk will vary depending on the number of attendees. There is no fee for attending nor an official registration process, but if you are planning to attend please tell us via our signup sheet. You must register with us if you would like to give a talk so we can place you in an appropriate place within the program. There is a limited amount of total time for presentations, so we ask that you register with us early to ensure that time is available for you.
ECGM will be held this year at the University of Maryland, located just north of Washington, D.C. There is Metro service to downtown and a host of restaurants and hotels nearby. There is lots to do in D.C. in the spring, and we hope that you'll take advantage of the visit.
There is no financial aid for the conference, but, since there is no registration fee, the costs are minimal. Local hotel reservations can be made at a special group rate through us; see the accomodations page for details.
For those interested, there is more ECGM history available from the coordinating committee hompage.
