Scale-Invariant Geometrodynamics
I will discuss a scale-invariant version of GR that possesses symmetry
under conformal transformations of the three-dimensional Riemannian
geometry. This symmetry renders the volume of the (closed) 3-D slices a
non-dynamical variable, leaving just the shape degrees-of-freedom, but a
`relative' notion of local scale does emerge. The theory carries strong
Machian motivations and makes wild cosmological claims.
