Finsler, Kaehler, and Complex Tangent Bundles of Spacetime
The Levi-Civita bundle connection coefficients
and Riemann curvature scalar are given for the
tangent bundle of a Finsler
spacetime. An almost complex structure is
constructed on the bundle, and conditions are
given that the tangent bundle be
Kaehler and/or complex. The corresponding
Levi-Civita connection coefficients and Riemann
curvature scalar are given. The
inclusion of bundle torsion is also addressed.
Also, possible implications are given for the
differential geometric structure
of spacetime and gravitation.
