WHAT'S HAPPENNING TO THE EARTH'S MAGNETIC FIELD? Recent research shows that the Earth’s magnetic field continues to drop in strength – possibly toward a reversal. Our researchers are working to improve our ability to understand and forecast the Earth’s core dynamics.
