PURPOSE: View a laser light hologram.

DESCRIPTION: The hologram, in the form of a slowly rotating cylinder, is illuminated from inside as illustrated by either a white light with a red plastic filter (photograph in center) or a laser light scattered by a piece of wax paper (photograph at right). The laser light renders better resolution of the hologram details, but this is obscured in the photograph by the laser speckle.
