PURPOSE: To do or to show whatever one wishes to do or to show with a skateboard.

DESCRIPTION: Wooden platform with ball bearing wheels.

SUGGESTIONS: If you use it, please let us know what you use it for.

From Paula Borstel: I set a empty soda can on a skateboard and ask if a student can push the skateboard w/o knocking over the soda. If they are succesful, ask if they can stop the skateboard w/o knocking over the can. Either would indicate inertia. Obj not in motion, vs obj in motion.
