The Physics Olympics
at the University of Maryland

The University of Maryland Physics Olympics, founded in 1979 by John Layman, is held annually in the month of April at the University of Maryland Physics Department. Teams from high schools in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia compete in eight events to determine the championship school.

The Spring 2012 University of Maryland Physics Olympics was held on Saturday, April 21, 2012.
