The answer is (d): other. To understand this very unusual behavior we have provided a hint shown in the photograph at the right.

Note that the word TOMATO is symmetric about a vertical line through its vertical axis, but the word GREEN is not. In fact, both words are inverted but TOMATO appears the same when it is inverted! Another similar effect can be seen in Question of the Week #12. You also might wish to look carefully at the letters "M" and "A" in "TOMATO."
