  • Data Reduction and Error Analysis for the Physical Sciences
    Phillip R. Bevington and D. Keith Robinson (McGraw-Hill Higher Education, 2003, ISBN 0-07-247227-8).
  • An Introduction to Error Analysis: The Study of Uncertainties in Physical Measurement
    John R. Taylor (University Science Books, 1997, ISBN 0-935702-75-X).
  • A lab notebook to keep a record of your experimients. Acceptable notebooks should be 8.5" x 11", bound (with spiral or book binding), and have numbered and quad-ruled pages. Pages should be permanent, not perforated for tear-out.
