121 HW
Fall 2007
Prof. E. F. Redish

Homework
Assignment 1F
(Due Friday, 9/7/07)
1. Feeding the Cougar
2. Dollar
and Penny
(Note: For this problem, it is not enough to say the result is wrong.
You have to explain what's wrong with the argument.)
3. Picking up the Books
4. Pizza Sale
5. Counting up the Deficit
When preparing your solution
- Do not attach the pages to each other in any way.
- Make sure that your name and section number is on each page.
- Do not do your homework on pages torn out of a bound notebook
that leaves ragged edges on the pages.
- Feel free to write on both sides of the page.
The homeworks are scanned by a fast (two-sided) scanner. This allows us to figure out what is going on when homeworks go astray (as the occasionally do in a class of this size). Attached pages or pages with irregular edges may jam the scanner and destroy your homework!
